Indian IT services company Wipro has launched ‘Wipro ai360‘, an AI-first innovation ecosystem that aims to integrate artificial intelligence into every platform, tool and solution used internally and offered to clients. The company has also announced that it will invest $1 billion top develop AI solutions over the next three years.

According to the company, Wipro ai360 will help the company provide value, productivity and commercial opportunities through the application of AI and generative AI.\u201cWith the emergence of generative AI, we expect a fundamental shift up ahead, for all industries. This is exactly why Wipro\u2019s ai360 ecosystem places responsible AI operations at the heart of all our AI work,” said Thierry Delaporte, chief executive officer and managing director, Wipro.According to Delaporte, Wipro ai360 is meant to empower the company’s talent pool and “be ubiquitous across all operations and processes,” as well as solutioning for clients.
Furthermore, Wipro\u2019s innovation hub Lab45 will be a core part of the Wipro ai360 ecosystem, providing clients with the talent, training, scale, as well as the research and co-innovation capabilities needed to accelerate AI adoption.
Wipro ai360 also aims to bring 30,000 Wipro experts in data analytics and AI with Wipro\u2019s technology and advisory ecosystem from four global business lines.
The company is looking to leverage capabilities across cloud and partnerships; data, analytics and AI; design and consulting; cybersecurity; as well as engineering to develop new solutions and embed AI into all processes and practices.
“Wipro\u2019s new global business line model will enable new levels of agility, speed, and depth in delivery,” the company said.<\/p>\n$1 billion investment<\/span>
Wipro has also announced that it will invest $1 billion in advancing AI capabilities over the next three years. The investments will be focussed on the expansion of AI, big data, and analytics solutions, as well as developing new research and development and platforms.
The company will also launch a GenAI Seed Accelerator programme, which will provide select GenAI-focused startups with the training needed to become enterprise-ready.
The company will also train all 2,50,000 employees on AI fundamentals and responsible use of AI over the course of the next 12 months. It will also provide more customised, ongoing training for employees in AI-specialised roles.
This comes a week after Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said it is planning to train 25,000 engineers to get them certified on Microsoft’s Azure Open AI.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
