The Tetulmari police station officers have arrested the lady teacher and principal of the school after the deceased girl left a suicide note and held them responsible for her step<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A school girl in Jharkhand commits suicide after she was beaten for wearing \u2018bindi\u2019 in school. The incident is from Jharkhand\u2019s Dhanbad area. The\u00a0parents of the deceased girl protested outside the school against management and authorities. The protest led by girl\u2019s parents and some locals prompted police to take action and initiate a probe. Taking cognisance of the matter, National Commission For Protection Of\u00a0Child Rights Chairperson Priyank Kanoonga\u00a0 tweeted and visited the place.<\/p>\n

Following the incident, the principal of the school and teacher who maltreated the girl are arrested. It is also alleged that the deceased girl was slapped and allegedly humiliated during prayer\u00a0by the lady teacher for wearing bindi. The Tetulmari police station in-charge Ashish Kumar Yadav informed PTI that the girl also left a suicide note\u00a0in her room in which she allegedly held the teacher of the school and the principal responsible for the incident.<\/p>\n

As reported by agencies, the suicide note by girl was addressed to the Tetulmari police station officer in charge,\u00a0where the deceased girl said that she\u00a0can\u2019t tolerate insult in school in public and preferred death and asked police to take action against the teacher and principal. The girl\u00a0after reaching home reportedly\u00a0committed suicide\u00a0in her house in Hanumangarhi Colony, about 25 km from the district headquarters.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile in Rajasthan an\u00a0inflammable material was thrown inside a classroom. The incident resulted into severe injuries to four girls of the classroom.\u00a0The incident took place at Government Mahatma Gandhi School in Mahua village when the students of sixth\u00a0class\u00a0were attending their classes, a police official said.\u00a0The father of one of the victims filed a complaint with the police, alleging that two minors threw the inflammable substance inside the classroom.<\/p>\n
