Last Updated: July 10, 2023, 13:26 IST<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n San Francisco, California, USA<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Firing most of the employees is never an ideal situation<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Evernote has laid off most of its employees and going forward, a team based in Europe will continue to assume ownership of the Evernote product.<\/p>\n Italian parent company Bending Spoons is taking most of Evernote\u2019s operations to Europe.<\/p>\n Bending Spoons acquired Evernote in November last year.<\/p>\n Evernote said the move is intended to \u201cboost operational efficiency and to make the most of the Bending Spoons employer brand, which is extremely strong in Europe.\u201d Most of the company\u2019s Chile and US-based employees have been laid off.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re committed to supporting those impacted with a substantial separation package.
