The award is for teachers of higher education. The last date to nominate the teachers for the awards is July 30, 2023. The nomination window is open on the official portal \u2013 nat.aicte-india.org. The nomination of higher education teachers will be done by the head of the institution.<\/p>\n<p id=\"1\" class=\"story_para_1\">This year, the Ministry of Education has introduced a new category of awards for teachers of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnic institutions.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"National_Award_To_Teachers_2023_Categories\"><\/span>National Award To Teachers 2023: Categories<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p id=\"2\" class=\"story_para_2\">The award has been divided into two categories:<\/p>\n<p id=\"3\" class=\"story_para_3\">Category 1- Teachers of ITIs and polytechnic institutes<\/p>\n<p id=\"4\" class=\"story_para_4\">Category 2- Teachers of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)<\/p>\n<p id=\"5\" class=\"story_para_5\"><strong>Category 2 is further divided into three sub-categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"6\" class=\"story_para_6\">Sub-category 1- Engineering and technology, architecture, any other.<\/p>\n<p id=\"7\" class=\"story_para_7\">Sub-category 2- Pure sciences including mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, chemical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, any other<\/p>\n<p id=\"8\" class=\"story_para_8\">Sub-category 3- Arts and social sciences, humanities, languages, legal studies, commerce, management, any other.<\/p>\n<p><nonfly class=\"article_mad\" adunit=\"NW18_ENG_Desktop\/NW18_ENG_JOBS\/NW18_ENG_JOBS_AS\/NW18_ENG_JOBS_AS_ROS_MID_728\" slotid=\"nw18-dynamic-div-8282269_9_15\" id=\"new_ad_9\"\/><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"National_Award_To_Teachers_2023_Eligibility\"><\/span>National Award To Teachers 2023: Eligibility<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p id=\"9\" class=\"story_para_9\"><strong>Experience-<\/strong> To be eligible for the award, higher education teachers should be a regular faculty member. They should have at least five years of full-time teaching experience at the undergraduate and\/or postgraduate level. The award is only for higher education teachers, Vice-Chancellor or director, or principal (regular or officiating) are not eligible to apply for the same.<\/p>\n<p id=\"10\" class=\"story_para_10\"><strong>Age-<\/strong> The nominee should not be above 55 years of age as of the last date of receiving the application for the awards.<\/p>\n<p><videocarousel\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"11\" class=\"story_para_11\">There are a total of 25 awards for ITI and diploma teachers. Meanwhile, 25 awards are for teachers of colleges and university teachers.
