To train an AI chatbot model, one needs data and this week, a report cited the company&#8217;s new policy that <!-- -->Google<!-- --> will use all publically available data to train <!-- -->Bard<!-- --> and other AI models. The company has now said that this was the case all along.<br \/>\u201cOur privacy policy has long been transparent that Google uses publicly available information from the open web to train language models for services like <!-- -->Google Translate<!-- -->,\u201d The Verge quoted Google spokesperson Christa Muldoon as saying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis latest update simply clarifies that newer services like Bard are also included. We incorporate privacy principles and safeguards into the development of our AI technologies, in line with our AI Principles,\u201d Muldoon added.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"strong\">Updated Google\u2019s privacy policy<\/span><br \/>Google updated its privacy policy and said that it relies on publicly available data. <br \/>\u201cGoogle uses information to improve our services and to develop new products, features and technologies that benefit our users and the public.
