Twitter owner Elon Musk and Meta chief executive Mark Zuckerberg grabbed headlines last week over a cage match that many think will not happen. The reason: the two “tech bros” are too busy with their businesses. But the Tesla CEO thinks the fight might actually take place, he will train if that happens and that it could “go badly.”
Musk joined a Twitter Spaces session from a “friend’s birthday party in Europe” with Bloomberg reporter Ashlee Vance.The session started with a question on Musk’s training for the upcoming cage match.
“Well, I haven\u2019t started training yet, so… if it does happen, I will train,” Musk responded.When told that Zuckerberg takes “this stuff pretty seriously” and “this [cage fight] could go, this could go badly,” Musk responded, “Yeah that\u2019s possible.”
The SpaceX CEO also said that he spends his time “according to what is needed” and that he doesn’t “usually have to fight people, so I don’t train, therefore, physically.”
Musk also said that he thinks the fight might actually happen.

What’s worth noting is that Musk is 51 and as he said, he doesn’t train. Zuck, who is 39, has won a few accolades in Jiu Jitsu. He has also shared several photos and videos in which has been seen training with martial artist Khai Wu.<\/p>\nHow did it start?<\/span>
The chatter about the fight started when Musk responded to a tweet which had details of Meta’s Twitter rival app – Project 92 or Threads – that the company is working on.
Musk responded with a cheeky comment, \u201cI\u2019m sure Earth can\u2019t wait to be exclusively under Zuck\u2019s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment.\u201d One user then warned Musk that Zuckerberg knows Jiu Jitsu.
Musk responded by saying that he was “up for a cage match” and Zuckerberg replied to the call by posting a screenshot on his Instagram Story asking for the location.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
