After losing his father when he was five, IAS officiaer B Abdul Nasar was doomed for a life of hardship. He and his siblings lived\u00a0in an orphanage while his mother struggled to support them. Nasar completed his education while spending 13 years in a Keralan orphanage. At the age of ten, he worked as a cleaner and a supplier at hotels. He occasionally escaped from his orphanage but later came back to finish his education. Despite living in terrible poverty, he finished high school and went on to graduate from Thalassery\u2019s government college. B Abdul Nasar supported his family\u00a0through various employment means like newspaper delivery, taking tuition classes and phone operator as well.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) results have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The UPSC Preliminary Exam was held on Sunday<\/a>, May 28, 2023. At least 14,624 candidates cleared the UPSC Prelims. Now, the UPSC main examination is scheduled for September 15, 2023. The written examination will consist of 9 traditional essay papers in the disciplines listed in sub-section (B) of Section II, two of which will be qualifying in nature.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n
