Rainfall has been forecast in 13 Tamil Nadu districts, including Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Cuddalore, Perambalur, and Tiruchi, through June 20 by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council advised all district basic education officials via email that council <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news18.com\/education-career\/up-school-summer-vacations-extended-till-june-26-due-to-heatwave-8041939.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">schools will close until June 26 and reopen on June 27.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Madhya_Pradesh\"><\/span><strong>Madhya Pradesh\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p id=\"4\" class=\"story_para_4\">Due to the current scorching heatwave conditions, the Department of School Education in Madhya Pradesh has chosen to delay the summer break for schools. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news18.com\/education-career\/madhya-pradesh-govt-extends-summer-vacation-for-primary-classes-till-july-1-8112715.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Primary schools for grades 1 through 5 are scheduled to resume on July 1<\/a> while classes for grades 6 through 12 commence on June 20, according to education minister Inder Singh Parmar. Parmar added that from June 20 to June 30, Classes 6 to 12 would be offered only in the morning shift. The state\u2019s schools were supposed to resume on June 16.
