One aspect that has worked for JEE Advanced 2023 All India Rank 1\u00a0Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy was his \u2018consistency\u2019. \u201cI maintained a consistent study routine, dedicating regular hours to learning and revision,” said Vavilala. The son of government school teachers,\u00a0Vavilala\u00a0now aims to get admission into IIT Bombay. He\u00a0wants to pursue\u00a0BTech in Computer Science Engineering.<\/p>\n

A native of Hyderabad, he started\u00a0his JEE Advanced preparation journey in class 11th. He said\u00a0that starting early helped him to lay the foundation for the exam by strengthening\u00a0his understanding of fundamental concepts in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. \u201cThis early start allowed me to gradually build my knowledge and skills over time,” said\u00a0Vavilala.<\/p>\n

He completed his class 12th from CBSE. He scored 341 marks out of 360 in JEE Main 2023\u00a0or 94.74 percentile.\u00a0In an exclusive interview with News18.com, the top rank holder\u00a0emphasised understanding concepts deeply rather than merely memorising them and\u00a0said this approach helped\u00a0him to tackle complex problems and apply\u00a0his knowledge effectively during the JEE Advanced. He\u00a0advises future JEE aspirants to focus on building a strong conceptual foundation in all subjects.<\/p>\n

\u201cRegular and consistent practice is key to improving problem-solving skills. Seeking guidance from mentors for clarification or concepts, maintaining a positive mindset, staying motivated, and managing time effectively is crucial for success,” he said.<\/p>\n

Vavilal Chidvilas said that his preparation\u00a0strategy for JEE Advanced revolved around three key elements \u2014 comprehensive understanding, practice, and self-discipline. To get acquainted with examination patterns he\u00a0solved a wide variety of problems from different sources, including previous years\u2019 papers and mock tests, to enhance\u00a0his problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n

A student of Infinity Learn By Sri Chaitanya, he said the last two months before the examination were \u2018critical\u2019 as he tried to consolidate his\u00a0knowledge and refine\u00a0exam-taking strategies. \u201cDuring this period, I focused on revising all the subjects comprehensively, solving numerous practice papers, and analyzing my performance to identify areas for improvement. Mock tests and simulations helped me simulate the exam environment and build my confidence. The focused preparation during these months helped me enhance my speed, accuracy, and overall performance in the actual examination” said the JEE Advanced 2023 topper.<\/p>\n

The top rank holder\u00a0scanned the entire question paper to get an overview of the sections and questions. Then, he opted to start with the section that he felt most comfortable with and confident in. \u201cThis approach allowed me to maximise my efficiency and build momentum as I began solving the paper,” said Reddy.\u00a0For his last-minute\u00a0preparations, he\u00a0went through important formulas, concepts, and key points and\u00a0engaged in activities that helped\u00a0him\u00a0feel relaxed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
