Now that WWDC is over and the Vision Pro has arrived, all eyes are on Apple\u2019s next big announcement and event \u2014 the next series of iPhones. As is the case every year, Apple is expected to launch new iPhones in September. Likely to be called the iPhone 15 series, rumours about the devices have started to gather pace. Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared some key specifications that iPhone 15 series will bring aboard.
Integration of Vision Pro<\/span>
In a series of tweets, Kuo hinted that Apple will make certain upgrades to its hardware to \u201cto build a more competitive ecosystem for Vision Pro.\u201d
As per Kuo, \u201cthe ecosystem is one of the key success factors for Vision Pro, including the integration with other Apple hardware products, and related main hardware specifications are Wi-Fi and UWB.\u201d
Kuo also said that UWB chip found in existing iPhones will also get an upgrade. The idea is to improve the performance as well as reduce power consumption for interaction with nearby devices.
\u201ciPhone 15 will likely see an specification upgrade of UWB, with the production process moving from 16nm to more advanced 7nm, allowing for improved performance or reduced power consumption for nearby Interactions,\u201d he said in a series of tweets.
Also, Apple is expected to keep the same Wi-Fi standard for the iPhone 15 series. However, Kuo believes that next year \u2014 the rumoured iPhone 16 \u2014 could get upgraded Wi-Fi standard. \u201ciPhone 16 will likely upgrade to Wi-Fi 7, which will be more conducive to Apple’s integration of hardware products running on the same local network and provide a better ecosystem experience,\u201d he added in the tweet.
It is expected that the iPhone 15 series will be unveiled in September later this year. As per rumours, Apple will stick to launching four new models in 2023 as well.<\/div>\n
