In response to a tweet suggesting that a Twitter video app is needed, Musk replied \u201dIt\u2019s coming\u201d.<\/p>\n

New CEO Linda Yaccarino and Musk had in an investor presentation on Thursday laid out Twitter\u2019s plans to focus on video, creator and commerce partnerships to revitalize the social media company\u2019s business beyond digital advertising.<\/p>\n

The investor presentation was reviewed by Reuters.<\/p>\n

One slide of the presentation said that vertical video accounted for more than 10% of time spent on Twitter.<\/p>\n

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson launched a new show earlier this month on the platform called \u201dTucker on Twitter.\u201d Twitter envisions that it could sell ads and sponsorships alongside videos from Carlson and other content creators, a source familiar with the matter had told Reuters.<\/p>\n

In related news, Twitter plans to focus on video, creator and commerce partnerships to revitalize the social media company\u2019s business beyond digital advertising, according to an investor presentation by owner Elon Musk and new Chief Executive Linda Yaccarino that was reviewed by Reuters.<\/p>\n

Yaccarino, who started as CEO on June 5, told Twitter investors on Thursday that the company is in early conversations with political and entertainment figures, payments services and news and media publishers, said a source familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a private investor call.<\/p>\n

None of the major advertising holding companies are recommending that clients pause their ad spending on Twitter, and well-known brands including Warner Bros, Mondelez, McDonald\u2019s and Walmart have resumed advertising on Twitter after initial pauses, according to a slide shown during the presentation.<\/p>\n
